Hot take (fight me in the comments): Most “AI presentation tools” are just PowerPoint with confidence issues. They promise speed. Then dump a generic deck on you... And leave you fixing spacing, layouts, and structure for hours. That’s not AI. That’s outsourcing bad design. I tried Dokie AI expecting the same. It wasn’t. It built a complete investor pitch in 15 minutes. Actually used it in a real meeting. Didn't break. Here’s why it actually annoyed me (in a good way): • The slides are usable immediately • The layout doesn’t break when you edit • You can literally talk to the deck to change logos, footers, sections • It sticks to your content instead of hallucinating fluff • Slides aren't static - viewers can interact with 3D models, click through data In other words: It behaves like someone who’s built real decks before. Wild concept, I know. If your “AI tool” still needs heavy cleanup, it’s not saving time. It’s just moving the work. Agree? Disagree? Tell me which AI slide tool you think actually delivers. As fall is slowly approaching and days are getting shorter in the northern hemisphere, smart city lighting becomes increasingly important. In this context, let’s explore the Sicilian town of Giardinello 💡🌿. Giardinello has not only upgraded to modern LED technology but also implemented a digital management solution to optimize energy consumption. This smart lighting solution leverages the scalable and widely adopted LoRaWAN technology. Each streetlight is equipped with LoRaWAN-based control technology, ensuring high-quality illumination and monitoring of each light’s status. The data from these lights is securely transmitted via LoRaWAN gateways, which act as a bridge between the field and the network server. Beyond the hardware, Giardinello utilizes the IoT platform grovez.io, which offers both a LoRaWAN server and a lighting application as part of a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model. The web-based Smart Lighting Service allows for various control and analysis functions, such as dimming levels, directly impacting energy consumption, lifespan, and maintenance needs of the lights. This comprehensive approach brings several benefits for the customer: 🌱 Energy Efficiency: Reduced energy consumption through smart dimming and control functions. 💰 Cost Savings: Lower operational and maintenance costs. 🛠️ Enhanced Management: Easy management of entire areas through group formations and interconnections. 🌍 Future-Proofing: Potential for adaptive, traffic-dependent lighting control and environmental monitoring. Giardinello’s initiative is a testament to how smart technology can improve public infrastructure, paving the way for a more sustainable and efficient future. Find out more about these exciting applications and how a small town like Giardinello is already smarter than some big cities 🏙️👉 https://lnkd.in/evb2wTQT #innovation #smartcities #industrialautomation #sustainability

I’ve analyzed 100s of presentations over the years. The difference between good presentations and great ones often comes down to this… Contrast. Contrast creates the tension between the audience’s present reality and desired future. And, when done right, that tension leads to action. Here are the three most persuasive forms of contrast: #1: Problem-Solution Start by establishing a specific problem your audience faces, then reveal how your solution directly addresses it. This builds urgency before positioning yourself as the cure. In my TED Talk, I used this framework to demonstrate how presentations often fail to move audiences. I first established the problem: many presentations lack emotional impact and fail to inspire action. Then I revealed the solution: a specific structure behind history’s great talks that creates contrast between the audience's present reality and their desired future. The key is spending enough time on the problem before rushing to your solution. Make the pain real. Use specific examples, emotional language, and quantify the impact. #2: Compare-Contrast Structure your content by showing how two approaches differ…the current state vs. the future state. This creates natural tension between where the audience is and where they could be. Here's how this could look with a marketing strategy presentation: The opening half focuses on your current marketing approach. You’d tell stories of what you’ve done and where that got you, showing campaign examples and results to create urgency for change. Then you shift to the new marketing strategy. You’d talk about what's possible if your team pursues this new direction, give compelling data, and connect it back to your company’s mission. This creates a natural contrast between the present state, which no one is satisfied with, and a future state with limitless potential. #3 Cause-Effect Organize your information to demonstrate clear causal relationships and inevitable outcomes. This makes your case feel like natural law rather than opinion. Here's how this could look with a customer service improvement presentation: You establish clear causal chains in your current situation… Long hold times cause customer frustration, which causes negative reviews, which damages your brand, which leads to lost sales. Then show how your solution creates a new chain… Your omnichannel platform causes faster response times, which causes improved satisfaction, which leads to positive reviews and higher retention. Each link builds logically to the next, helping your audience follow the inevitable consequences of both action and inaction. But there’s a secret ingredient you need if you want any of these forms of contrast to truly convince your audience. Story. That’s why I made a FREE multi-media version of my award-winning book, Resonate, that gives you skills in using story in your presentations. You can grab your copy by clicking the link in the comments. #presentationskills

This week’s defining shift for me is that XR is becoming a marketing medium. What once felt like a technology for experimental activations is maturing into a channel for ongoing engagement and sales. Across industries from retail to real estate, XR is transforming how people experience products, events, and spaces, creating immersive experiences that connect with customers and deliver measurable results. This week’s spatial computing news surfaced signals like these: 🍕 Pizza Hut’s AR racing game turns pizza boxes into a campaign platform, letting customers scan a QR code to unlock an interactive Supercars experience tied to the Bathurst 1000. 😎 Banuba’s new eyewear try-on for Shopify gives online retailers an easy way to integrate AR into e-commerce, letting customers “try before they buy” directly from their devices. ⛵ SailGP’s RaceScape XR app blends live video and an AR tabletop racing experience on Vision Pro, making mixed reality part of how the league engages fans worldwide. 🪞 Aircards’ £3M raise will expand AR mirrors, LED tunnels, and spatial analytics, helping brands transform retail and event spaces into measurable, immersive experiences. 🏡 Three Space Lab’s $3M seed round scales VR real estate tours that act as both sales and marketing tools for luxury property developers across global markets. Why this matters: We’re still early, but XR is no longer limited to one-off activations. CPG, sports, retail, real estate, and fashion are all exploring ways to integrate it into their marketing and sales strategies. Once this kind of cross-sector momentum builds, it rarely fades. #realestate #marketing #advertising #brands #CPG #QSR #retail #ecommerce #mixedreality #augmentedreality #virtualreality #XR

I usually prefer AI tools that start with a mature workflow, and only then build advanced AI into it - rather than the other way around. They tend to feel more user-friendly in practice. Take Pitch. It was already a mature presentation workspace, and now its new Pitch Agent AI layer sits inside the workflow where deck work already happens. That creates a few key advantages: 1. Not just prompt → slides It also supports what happens after the first draft with editing support from the AI chat. 2. Built more for team and business decks Unlike a quick personal PPT, a business deck needs to fit the team’s brand, the specific audience, and often input from multiple people, and Pitch helps you meet these needs with content support and smart collaboration features. 3. The Agent works inside the editor This brings everything closer to the actual workflow, so you’re not hopping between tools or multiple drafts. You can polish your work right there and then: rewriting copy, adjusting tone, improving visuals, and making the deck feel coherent. 4. Pitch Rooms and analytics add the business layer For sales, client work, fundraising, or internal decision-making, the workflow does not stop when the deck is finished. You also want to share it cleanly and understand how people engage with it with engagement analytics and tracked live sharing links. A more complete workflow: create, refine, collaborate, share, and understand what happens after the deck is sent. Try Pitch and the new Pitch Agent for free: https://lnkd.in/gS-DqFHx

While the world continues to be captivated by the advances in Artificial Intelligence, there’s another silent revolution unfolding, one that’s not just powering minds, but enhancing how we perceive, feel, and engage with reality. 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 (𝐀𝐑), 𝐕𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 (𝐕𝐑), 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐱𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 (𝐗𝐑) 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐧𝐨 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐬 They are here, they are practical, and they are solving real-world problems in ways traditional technology cannot. In India, where the challenges of geography, affordability, access, and diversity intersect, AR, XR, and VR are becoming critical enablers of transformation—especially when integrated thoughtfully with AI. India is emerging as not only a fast adopter but also a high-potential creator in this space. In the 🎯 healthcare sector, Indian giants like Apollo Hospitals and healthtech platforms like MedAchievers have adopted VR-based training and patient rehabilitation. AR-assisted surgeries are helping surgeons visualize and execute complex procedures with higher precision. In the 🎯 manufacturing and heavy engineering sector, Tata Motors and Larsen & Toubro are leveraging AR for remote diagnostics, equipment training, and quality control on the assembly line. VR simulations are replacing costly physical prototypes in the design stage, and digital twins powered by XR are reducing error margins and boosting productivity—proven to increase operational efficiency by up to 30% according to McKinsey. 🎯In Rajasthan, VR-enabled science labs are enabling students in government schools to explore anatomy and physics beyond textbooks. 🎯 Real estate has embraced immersive technology with open arms. Noida-based startup SmartVizX has transformed project walk-throughs using VR, allowing clients—especially NRIs—to explore properties remotely. Top brands like Godrej Properties and DLF have reported a 25–30% higher lead conversion using VR-assisted sales kits. 🎯 Retail and e-commerce too are evolving beyond product images. Lenskart’s AR-powered virtual try-on, Tanishq’s immersive try-before-you-buy feature, and Reliance Trends’ AR dressing rooms are reducing product return rates and enhancing buyer confidence. These experiences build brand loyalty in an increasingly digital-first customer base. 🎯 In the tourism and culture sector, the Archaeological Survey of India and Incredible India campaigns have begun integrating AR/VR for virtual explorations of monuments like Hampi, Ajanta Caves, and Konark. We must not overlook the invisible interface layer that makes all this accessible, experiential, and real. AR/VR/XR is not just about entertainment or gaming; it’s about operational transformation, deeper engagement, and scalable problem-solving. If AI is the brain, XR is the nervous system connecting, visualizing, and enabling actions across sectors. #augmentedreality #virtualreality

🎨 Day 5 of 30 — Gamma AI I stopped spending 3 hours on slides the day I realized my best work was dying in PowerPoint. What it does: Gamma is an AI presentation builder. Describe your topic, paste your notes, or drop in a document — and it generates a full, designed deck in under 60 seconds. Then you edit in natural language: "make this slide more visual," "add a chart showing this data," "shorten this to 3 bullets." What makes it different from Canva AI: → Canva gives you templates. Gamma gives you a complete narrative structure → You can paste raw data and ask it to generate a chart — no manual formatting → It understands context across slides, not just the one you're editing → Built-in analytics show you which slides your audience actually reads Real use case: Before any stakeholder review, I used to spend hours translating model results into PowerPoint. Now I paste my key findings into Gamma, tell it my audience is "a non-technical finance leadership team," and ask it to build the story. The output is presentation-ready in minutes — and the framing is actually better because it forces clarity I'd otherwise skip. Prompt to try: Open Gamma and paste this: "My audience: [describe them]. My goal: [what decision you need them to make]. My findings: [paste your 3–5 bullet points]. Build a 6-slide presentation that leads with the business impact, explains the method simply, and ends with a clear recommendation." My take: Most Data Scientists are brilliant at building models and terrible at explaining them. Gamma doesn't fix the explanation — it fixes the presentation of the explanation. That's actually the harder problem. Free tier available. Pro at ~$10/month. 💬 What's the worst slide deck you've ever had to sit through from a DS team — including your own? Drop it below. I'll rebuild the structure for free. 👇 #30DaysOfAITools #Day5 #GammaAI #DataScience #AITools #DataStorytelling #AIInIndia #MachineLearning #GenerativeAI #WomenInTech

Here’s one more AI tool to level up your presentation game: https://www.beautiful.ai/ Over time, I’ve crafted a simple workflow using GenAI to make presentations not only easier but more impactful. Here’s my process: Step 1: Brainstorming with Copilot or ChatGPT. I start with this prompt: “I want to create a presentation for [audience] on [topic]. The goal is to [objective]. Ask me 10 related questions to help you build a strong storyline. Organize it in a table with page numbers, titles, content suggestions, and visuals.” This gives me a solid structure to work from. Step 2: Personalize the content. I review the AI-generated outline and rewrite it in my own style, adding personal insights and refining the flow. Step 3: Design with AI tools. Once the content is set, I use tools like Copilot in PowerPoint, Gamma, Tome, or Beautiful.ai to bring the slides to life with clean, engaging visuals. The combination of GenAI for both content and design makes the whole process faster, more creative, and fun. Have you tried using AI for your presentations yet?

I’ve changed my mind about trade shows. 6 months ago, I talked about how ineffective they were as a marketing tactic. - Booths cost £1000s - No one gets new business. - You get ignored by attendees. - Everyone is just pitching at you. - There are 100s of competitors there. - You get drowned out by other vendors. They’re a massive waste of time. Or at least that’s what I thought… Then I got sent the photos (below) from one of our clients’ booths at a recent trade show. That’s when I realised trade shows aren’t the issue. ↳ It’s how companies approach them that’s broken. The key: Create a campaign around your booth. Here’s the playbook for getting noticed at trade shows: 1/ Don’t Make Yourself The Attraction Our client hired Kaleb from Clarkson’s Farm to be at their booth. Crowds flocked for a chat, photo, or simply to see what all the fuss was about. They came for Kaleb. ↳ But then they’d chat to our client. —— 2/ Turning a Booth Into an Experience They ditched the usual trade show freebies and brought in a VR welding setup. Kaleb set a time. ↳ People tried to beat it. ↳ If they did they won a prize. This meant visitors weren’t just walking by—they were staying, engaging, and talking about it. —— 3/ Force Them To Remember You Here’s where it got clever: Our client offered a hefty reward for the person who won the VR welding game. But they wouldn’t find out if they won until the end of the day. That meant the last booth people went to was there. ↳ Keeping them top of mind on the way home. —— Don’t get me wrong, most trade shows are a waste of money. But if you go into them: - With a clear strategy. - An approach to get noticed. - A campaign around your booth. They can really make an impact. Definitely going to be doing more of this with clients.
