💵 Africa’s $2.7 Trillion “Cash Market” – An Untapped Engine for Entrepreneurs Africa runs on cash. From bustling markets in Nairobi to stokvels in Soweto, over 90% of all transactions on the continent are still cash-based. That “cash economy” is massive: • $2.7 trillion total payments market • $701 billion in mobile money transactions (70% of the world’s total!) • $100 billion+ in remittances flowing into Africa annually • Informal savings groups in South Africa alone channel R50 billion ($2.7B) each year This is not a weakness—it’s potential waiting to be unlocked. 🚨 The challenge? Traceability. Cash and informal systems don’t leave digital footprints. Without data, banks and investors struggle to assess risk, limiting financing for millions of entrepreneurs who power our economies. 🌍 The opportunity? Digital traceability. Every time we move from opaque cash to traceable payments, we build a foundation for trust. With financial data, entrepreneurs can: ✅ Prove their income flows ✅ Build credit histories ✅ Access capital at scale Imagine what happens when Africa’s $2.7 trillion cash market becomes transparent enough to attract structured financing. We don’t just bank individuals—we finance entire ecosystems of entrepreneurs, fuelling job creation and economic growth across the continent. 📌 The future of African entrepreneurship isn’t just about raising more capital. It’s about unlocking what we already have, by turning the invisible into the investable. 👉 Do you believe financial traceability is the missing key for Africa’s next wave of entrepreneurs?

Hot take: You don’t need louder content. You need real content. And Saheli Chatterjee proves it every single day. While most people are busy shouting on social media, she’s quietly building one of the most trusted personal brands in the freelancing and marketing space. And the best part? Zero gimmicks. 100% trust. Here’s what I learned from studying Saheli’s LinkedIn and Instagram strategies (and what you might want to steal too 👀): Authenticity over aesthetics: She doesn’t just share wins, she shares struggles, lessons, and real journeys. Her followers feel seen and heard and that’s exactly why they engage. Value-first content: Whether it’s a quick Instagram carousel or a long-form LinkedIn post, her content teaches you something immediately. It's not about hyping herself up; it's about helping her audience show up better. Platform-native strategy: On Instagram? Visually engaging, highly interactive, bite-sized storytelling. On LinkedIn? Longer, narrative-driven posts that break down strategies and celebrate real results. She adapts to what each platform (and audience) truly wants. Community-first mindset: Polls, Q&As, meaningful comments- her content isn’t a one-way street. She’s building conversations, not just audiences. Consistency that feels human: She’s active, but never robotic. Every post feels intentional, not forced. And that’s what keeps her brand fresh, relevant, and growing. The impact? → Millions of views. → Thousands of real conversations. → A business built on trust and not noise. If you're a freelancer, creator, or marketer: Focus less on making noise. Focus more on building connection. That’s where the real magic (and real business) happens. #SaheliChatterjee #SocialMediaStrategy #Freelancing #Instagram #Analysis #LinkedInGrowth #Freelance101Academy

Dear freelancers, This year, I need you to run your strictest programme yet. No more “let’s just see how it goes” energy. We’re moving like strict businesses. okurrr. Start here: 1/ Have contracts in place. Every time. 2/ Set communication hours. You’re not a 24/7 helpline. 3/ Stick to your T&Cs. Boundaries are part of the service. 4/ Take deposits. Your calendar is not a free holding space. 5/ If a potential client is giving you the runaround, run away. 6/ Get clear on the scope before you start. “Can you just…” will finish you. 7/ Don’t undercharge yourself just to “secure the bag.” Cheap clients are rarely low stress. BUT. By doing all this, you also need to make sure your service is matching the standards you’re setting. Professionalism isn’t one-sided. So also: ✨ Deliver on time. Or communicate early. ✨ Make the process smooth, not stressful. ✨ Overcommunicate progress so clients feel secure. ✨ Take pride in the details; quality is your reputation. ✨ Leave clients feeling like they made the right investment. This isn’t just about helping yourself. It helps the whole freelance community. When you undercharge, overdeliver for free, ignore contracts, or move messy, it lowers the standard for everyone else trying to run a serious business. We can be kind. We can be flexible. But we cannot be unserious. Yours sincerely, A seasoned freelancer

Web3 B2B sales is broken. Because we’re still using the 2021 playbook. And that playbook was built for hype. Not for institutional or enterprise buyers. Here’s the old way most web3 B2B teams still operate: → Blast automated DMs on X and call it “B2B sales” → Inflate follower counts with bots and vanity metrics → Spam prospects on Telegram from random accounts → Hire Twitter KOLs to pump narratives and dump attention → Run airdrops and InfoFi campaigns that attract the wrong crowd This worked in 2021. When everyone was early. When credibility didn’t matter. When buyers were crypto native. Today? Institutional and enterprise buyers see right through this. • Telegram spam kills credibility. • X (Twitter) outreach has low trust. • Automation without context signals amateurism. None of these converts into large ticket web3 B2B deals. We need to change how we think about it. Positioning beats noise. Credibility beats automation. High trust beats high volume. Most importantly, Founders and web3 sales leaders need to be where the real buyers are. And that's not X or Telegram. That platform is LinkedIn. This is where the institutional and enterprise decision makers live. The new playbook for web3 B2B BD should be: → Founders build a visible personal brand on LinkedIn → Storytelling that builds familiarity with right stakeholders → Clear positioning around real business value, not token hype → Consistent content that explains what you do in buyer language → Highly customized LinkedIn approach instead of cold random DMs When done right, something flips. You stop chasing buyers. Institutional and enterprise leads come to you. Conversations start warm. Trust is already established. Closing large ticket web3 B2B deals becomes easier, not harder. This is how modern web3 B2B sales actually works. If you’re a web3 B2B business and want to scale without spam or hype, DM me “Growth”. ________________________________________________________ 👋 I’m Aram, helping web3 leaders & B2B businesses grow on 𝗖𝗿𝘆𝗽𝘁𝗼 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗲𝗱𝗜𝗻. ♻️ Repost this to help others in your network. 📌 Follow Aram Mughalyan for daily crypto insights & LinkedIn growth tactics.

Your pricing page is the second most viewed page on your website. Yet, most pages fail to convince users to buy. I’ve spent 100s of hours running price experiments… Here are the 5 principles to make your pricing page so irresistible that it sells itself: — 𝗢𝗡𝗘 - 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘆 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗠𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹 Ask yourself: → What’s the pricing structure? → Who’s the right audience for each plan? → Why should someone choose this plan? If your users can’t answer these questions immediately, you’re losing them. → Talk to your users. Find out what’s confusing. Fix it. → Make your plans make sense because a confused mind never buys. — 𝗧𝗪𝗢 - 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀 𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗢𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝗡𝗼𝘁 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗬𝗼𝘂 Copying your competitor’s pricing page might seem tempting. But it’s a shortcut to failure. Here’s what you should do: → Dig into your user research. Prioritize experiments that solve your audience’s specific pain points. → Skip the “growth hacks” that pile up downstream problems for sales or support. Your users are unique. Treat them that way, and your results will be too. — 𝗧𝗛𝗥𝗘𝗘 - 𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝗲𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝘀𝘆𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 Your pricing page isn’t about what you’re selling. It’s about how you’re selling it. Use psychology to guide decision-making: → Offer three plans: good, better, best. → Highlight the one you want them to choose. → Include a free option; it’s a no-brainer for undecided users. → Use the decoy effect: make your premium option shine by comparison. These aren’t just tricks. They’re time-tested ways to make decisions easier for your users. — 𝗙𝗢𝗨𝗥 - 𝗦𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗳𝘆 𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗱𝗱 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗘𝗹𝘀𝗲𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 Your pricing page doesn’t need to say everything. And don’t make users “work” to understand your pricing. → Start clean: clear plans, clear benefits, and add depth where it counts. → Use FAQs and deeper sections for additional details further down. → Think Apple: clean, focused, and easy to understand, with details available when needed. — 𝗙𝗜𝗩𝗘 - 𝗢𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘇𝗲 𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗨𝘀𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 Your users are in different stages of their journey. So your pricing pages should tailor to their experience with your pricing page. Here’s what to do: → New visitors? Show them why you’re the best choice. → Returning users? Highlight what’s new or offer a discount. → Existing customers? Nudge them toward upgrades tailored to their usage. Also, a little personalization will go a long way: → Use their language, their currency, their context, etc. — Want to dive deeper with 6 best pricing page breakdowns and top experiments of my career? Safeguarding information while enabling collaboration requires methods that respect privacy, ensure accuracy, and sustain trust. Privacy-Enhancing Technologies create conditions where data becomes useful without being exposed, aligning innovation with responsibility. When companies exchange sensitive information, the tension between insight and confidentiality becomes evident. Cryptographic PETs apply advanced encryption that allows data to be analyzed securely, while distributed approaches such as federated learning ensure that knowledge can be shared without revealing raw information. The practical benefits are visible in sectors such as banking, healthcare, supply chains, and retail, where secure sharing strengthens operational efficiency and trust. At the same time, adoption requires balancing privacy, accuracy, performance, and costs, which makes strategic choices essential. A thoughtful approach begins with mapping sensitive data, selecting the appropriate PETs, and aligning them with governance and compliance frameworks. This is where technological innovation meets organizational responsibility, creating the foundation for trusted collaboration. #PrivacyEnhancingTechnologies #DataSharing #DigitalTrust #Cybersecurity

She was visible in the room but invisible online. A client said to me recently, “In person, people know who I am and what I bring. But online? You’d never know it.” And she was right. In person it was clear she had decades of credibility. She was the person people turned to when decisions needed to be made, things needed to get done, problems solved, or trust established. Her peers knew it. Her clients knew it. Her team knew it. But when someone Googled her, her LinkedIn profile came up, and the message simply didn’t match. 📉 A profile that undersold her expertise. 📉 Inconsistent or non-existent activity. 📉 A digital first impression that didn’t reflect the reputation she’d earned. And here is the challenge with this - people don’t separate offline from online anymore. ✨ The client meeting you tomorrow has already looked you up today. ✨ The board member you’re pitching to has already scanned your profile. ✨ The graduate considering your firm has already checked your team’s presence. ✨ The investor you’re meeting next week has already searched your name. ✨ The client referral you haven’t even met yet has already formed an impression. If your online presence doesn’t reflect your offline reputation, it creates disconnect before you even enter the room. “Are they really the expert?” “If their business is as strong as they say, why can’t I see it here?” You’ve worked too hard to be invisible. The good news? You don’t need constant posting or flashy campaigns to close that gap. What you need are the right foundations: ✔️ A profile that communicates value, not just a job title. ✔️ Consistent, purposeful activity that mirrors how you show up in person. ✔️ A digital presence that builds trust before the first handshake. Because your reputation shouldn’t depend on which version of you people happens to find first. Make sure the person people meet online is the same one they already trust in the room.

I built my first two businesses, Fibe and The Shortlist NY, off my personal brand. 3 years later, we've scaled to over $3m in revenue, completely bootstrapped, working with some of the largest institutions in the world. My personal brand means everything to me. These are the 12 things I learned from building a reputation. 1. Guard your reputation with your life: Reputation is the cornerstone of power. One unflattering story spreads faster than a hundred accomplishments. Protect it ferociously. 2. Be a person of your word: The easiest way to build your reputation is to do what you say you'll do. Ideally, more than what's expected. 3. Never burn bridges: Even if you don't like, respect, or admire someone, there's no upside to burning the bridge. You don't have to be everyone's friend. 4. Bite your tongue: Heated arguments and emotional emails have no upside beyond a brief moment of relief. 5. Don't double, triple, or quadruple message someone: It reeks of desperation. Send once, follow up once, then move on. 6. You can build genuine trust online: Build it by consistently engaging with people, sharing their work, advocating for them, and adding value through thoughtful debate. 7. Use AI thoughtfully: AI is a force multiplier that reveals who the exceptional operators are while exposing the lazy and tasteless. 8. Always do double opt-in introductions: Don't fire off an intro if you haven't vetted both sides. The best intros benefit both parties. 9. Build your reputation around one memorable quality: Don't try to be everything. Pick one trait and become known for it. 10. Don't be too eager: Things that seem too available feel lower value. This isn't about playing games but about understanding your self-worth. 11. Create public proof of your competency: Publish a blog. Show your portfolio. Build a public record of your work that serves as a living resume. 12. And finally, perhaps the most important ... Give first: Give generously, but not always altruistically. Time, energy, and resources without an immediate return build a well of goodwill that lasts a lifetime.

Social media followers aren't your customers. And they aren't your assets. Recent events show: → Platforms control your content → Rule changes can happen anytime → Your business presence is on borrowed land Social media is like a storefront window: • Great for attracting attention • Not a place to keep all your inventory • Use it as a gateway to direct relationships Here's what smart businesses focus on: 1. Create Value That Converts • Showcase expertise • Provide genuine value • Lead followers to deeper connections outside the platform 2. Build Your Own Database • Transform engagement into email subscriptions • Collect phone numbers or direct contact info • Own your customer database to avoid platform changes 3. Develop Platform-Independent Relationships • Nurture relationships through channels you control • Use email lists, websites, or customer portals • These assets are immune to algorithm updates 4. Create Content With An Exit Strategy • Include pathways back to your owned spaces • Use lead magnets, exclusive offers, or valuable resources • Compel your audience to move beyond the social feed Remember: Social media platforms are attention marketplaces, not your business's permanent home. Use them strategically, but always aim to build direct relationships with your audience that you own and control. In this era of digital uncertainty, your most valuable asset isn't your follower count – it's your ability to communicate directly with your audience on your own terms. Don't just build a social media presence; build a sustainable, platform-independent business relationship with your community.
