  • “Let me ask my manager.” “We’re waiting for approval.” “Can I call you back tomorrow once I confirm?” Those three lines nearly cost me my #business. They’re how leads quietly die when everything still runs through the founder. It feels like control, until it becomes the bottleneck. -> Momentum stalls, -> Decisions pile up, -> and your best prospects go cold while your inbox warms up. This is what we call 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿-𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆: every decision, approval, and solution needs you. If your team pauses when you’re offline, you don’t have a system; you have a single point of failure. 𝗔𝘀𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳: ·      Can the business run without me for two weeks? ·      Can I take leave and stay on Do Not Disturb? ·      Can my team and our systems deliver without constant oversight? If any answer is “no,” you’re not just busy, you’re blocking #growth. You need a structure that closes deals when you’re asleep or OOO. 𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗳𝗶𝘅 𝗶𝘁 𝗳𝗮𝘀𝘁: 🔸Assign ownership by outcomes. One owner per metric, visible to all (e.g., Lead response SLA: <2 hours — Maria). 🔸Document the 20% processes that drive 80% of results. Short, skimmable, 1 page each. 🔸Set a decision ladder. What’s decided solo, what needs input, what truly needs you. Default to action. The key is to remember that you must build people, processes, and accountability. Then, watch your business run & scale without you in the middle of everything. What’s one approval you’ll remove this week to speed things up?

When people feel genuinely appreciated, they’ll go above and beyond 🙏🏾

It’s not rocket science, when you value your team, they start seeing their work as meaningful, and they’ll give you way more than just what’s expected.

It’s a simple formula: look after your people, and they’ll look after your customers, which will, in turn, look after your business.
Here’s how to make that happen, step by step:
 1. Show Real Appreciation: Don’t wait for the annual review to recognise someone’s hard work. Make it a habit to acknowledge wins, big or small. A simple “thank you,” a shoutout in a meeting, or a quick message goes a long way in showing that you see their effort.
 2. Give People Autonomy: Trust your team to do the job you hired them for. Micromanaging makes people feel undervalued, but giving them the freedom to make decisions shows you trust their abilities. When people feel trusted, they take more ownership and pride in their work.
 3. Invest in Their Growth: If you want your team to see their work as valuable, invest in them. Offer training, mentorship, or opportunities to take on new challenges. When you help your people grow, they’ll bring that extra value back to your business.
 4. Create a Culture of Respect: Encourage open communication where everyone feels heard. When your team knows their ideas and feedback are valued, they’ll feel like a key part of the bigger picture—and that motivates them to give their best.
 5. Recognise the Impact of Their Work: Connect the dots for your team—show them how their efforts contribute to the success of the business. When people can see the real-world impact of what they’re doing, it turns everyday tasks into something more meaningful.
 6. Support Work-Life Balance: A healthy, happy team is a productive one. Encourage your employees to take breaks, use their holidays, and maintain a good work-life balance. When people feel supported in managing their lives outside of work, they’re more energised and focused when they’re on the job.

 7. Celebrate Wins as a Team: When something goes right, celebrate it! Whether it’s hitting a major milestone or wrapping up a tough project, recognising the team’s collective effort builds a sense of community and makes everyone feel appreciated.
When your team feels valued, they’ll go the extra mile without being asked.

Happy employees create happy customers, and happy customers drive business growth.

So, take care of your team—they’re your greatest asset, and the returns will be massive. ♻️Eric Partaker

Both your people and your design must evolve for your machine to improve. When you get personal evolution right, the returns are exponential. As people get better and better, they are more able to think independently, probe, and help you refine your machine. The faster they evolve, the faster your outcomes will improve. Your part in an employee’s personal evolution begins with a frank assessment of their strengths and weaknesses, followed by a plan for how their weaknesses can be mitigated either through training or by switching to a different job that taps into their strengths and preferences. At Bridgewater, new employees are often taken aback by how frank and direct such conversations can be, but it’s not personal or hierarchical—no one is exempt from this kind of criticism. While this process is generally difficult for both managers and their subordinates, in the long run it has made people happier and Bridgewater more successful. Remember that most people are happiest when they are improving and doing the things that suit them naturally and help them advance. So learning about your people’s weaknesses is just as valuable (for them and for you) as is learning their strengths. #principleoftheday

When I removed targets from my team, the first question every sales leader asked was... “How did you stop everything turning into chaos?” The answer was simple but not easy. We replaced top down targets with something far more powerful… A personal success blueprint for every rep. If you’ve never used one, here’s exactly what it is and how it works. It's a structured, data informed plan the rep co creates with their manager. It defines the inputs, activity levels & funnel metrics they need to achieve THEIR definition of success. It becomes the foundation for coaching, accountability & weekly 1:1s. Here’s how we built it. Step 1️⃣: Start with what top performers actually do... We pulled the data from our best reps. Things like... Discovery calls per week Discovery to qualified Opps created per month Opps to close Average deal size Sales cycle Etc....you get my point. This became our baseline blueprint. Not a rule, more like a map of effective execution inside our reality. Step 2️⃣: Understand the rep's intrinsic motivators... Because a blueprint only works if the rep is building toward something they care about. But first we needed to model the openness we sought from them. I shared my personal manual for working with me; a meaty guide that included lots of personal info, including my drivers & motivations. Then we found out what drove them... Some wanted a promotion. Some had a clear earning goal. Some wanted to rebuild confidence. Some wanted to be at the top of the leaderboard. Once you uncover the driver, you can build a plan that actually means something. Step 3️⃣: Build their personalised blueprint grounded in data... This is the coaching conversation where real change happens. It sounds like… “If your goal is £X and your deal size is £Y you will need around Z deals…” “Your win rate is X%, top performers sit at Y% percent…where could you realistically get it to?” “With your discovery to qualified at X%, how many discovery calls per week do you need?” The manager questions. The rep thinks. Together they build something ambitious but believable. And everything is rooted in their personal motivator...e.g. a clear path to promotion. The rep signs off. The manager commits to coaching to it. Step 4️⃣: Contract for accountability... This is where most leaders fall. We asked every rep… “When you fall behind, how do you want me to respond?” Some wanted a Slack nudge. Some wanted a short problem solving session. Some wanted it raised in weekly 1:1s Different reps need different triggers. Agreeing this upfront turns accountability into partnership. Step 5️⃣: Use the blueprint every week... Every 1:1 followed the GROW model. Goal, Reality, Options, Will. What’s working, what's not, what options do you see and what will you commit to this week? It keeps the conversation grounded in reality and solution focussed. 5 simple steps but success is driven by the quality of the coaching. That'll be my next post...

I struggled to get clients, but I found a way out. Here is what I’ve learned the hard way to build my coaching business: ❌ Mistake 1 : Selling Coaching, Selling Processes ✅ Lesson : No one wants to buy coaching. People want to buy OUTCOMES. Share success stories, create possibilities. ➡️ The Shift: Once I understood this, my conversion rate jumped from 20% to 80%. How? By asking the magic question: "What would SUCCESS look like if we were to work together? ❌Mistake 2: Wanting to coach everyone because….“If I “niche down”, I will reduce the number of potential clients”  ✅Lesson: This is the exact opposite. To survive in this crowded industry, differentiate yourself. Narrow down your niche. ❌Mistake 3: Loving coaching, despising the business of coaching  ✅Lesson: Leverage and invest in your coaching skills to become a great salesperson: 1. Listen with empathy 2. Understand pain points 3. Ask powerful questions 4. Create a sense of urgency for immediate action. ➡️ Remember: Your coaching skills are your business superpowers. ❌Mistake 4: Being afraid to post on Linkedin, afraid to be judged. ✅Lesson: People might judge you but people will see you. Stick to your values. Stick to your mission. Share how you want to help and the impact you want to make.   LinkedIn is the best platform to create awareness and generate leads. ➡️ Don’t be afraid to put yourself out there. What would you add in # 5 ? What lessons did you learn? People don’t grow because they chase opportunities alone. They grow because someone connects them, shares with them, and invests in them. Here are 8 relationship-first truths most people forget: 1/ Stop collecting contacts. ↳ When you create a connection, focus on strengthening it. One strong connection is more important than 100 weak ones.  2/ Give before you get. ↳ Share your time, insights, and resources without expectation of getting anything in return. 3/ Prioritize real conversations. ↳ Ask about peoples’ goals, challenges, and passions before you share your own. 4/ Help people before it benefits you. ↳Giving introductions, advice, or opportunities will come back to benefit you.  5/ Celebrate others’ wins. ↳ Public acknowledgment strengthens bonds. ↳ Genuine appreciation multiplies goodwill faster than recognition for yourself. 6/ Listen more than you speak. ↳ Curiosity unlocks insights, opportunities, and trust, a lot of the times, asking questions matters more than getting answers.  7/ Remove transactional thinking. ↳ Connections built transactions don’t last. 8/ Build networks of people who push you to grow. ↳ Surround yourself with people who challenge, inspire, and elevate. These relationships end up being the people who show up for you when it matters most.

I’ve tracked 500+ coaching businesses over the last 18 months. Coaching demand is not evenly distributed anymore. A few niches are pulling away from the rest. The fastest-growing coaches are attached to problems companies already budget for. Many coaches are still building offers around what feels meaningful. Not what organisations urgently need solved. Coaching becomes much easier to sell when the outcome already exists inside a company KPI. 🔥 Burnout Coaching HR teams increasingly treat burnout as a retention problem, not a wellbeing initiative. The problem: High performers burning out under sustained pressure. How to win here: Target mid-size companies (200-1000 employees) where HR knows burnout costs money Sell fixed-length programs tied to measurable productivity outcomes Prevention is easier to budget for than transformation. 👑 Leadership & Executive Coaching Most first-time managers are promoted based on output, not leadership skill. The problem: First-time managers drowning in responsibilities they were never trained for. How to win here: Find companies promoting individual contributors to management roles Build a "First 90 Days as Manager" program with weekly check-ins 💼 Career Coaching Career coaching converts fastest when tied to a measurable income jump. The problem: Mid-career professionals feeling stuck without clear next steps. How to win here: Pick one career transition and own it (corporate to startup, IC to manager) Build content around one transition problem and one measurable outcome. 🏢 Corporate Wellbeing Coaching Team-based coaching gets approved faster than individual coaching, because it looks operational, not therapeutic. The problem: Companies are realising employee wellness directly impacts their bottom line. How to win here: Offer group sessions for entire teams, not individual coaching Start with a 3-month pilot in their most stressed department The coaching industry is splitting in two: Coaches tied to measurable business outcomes. And coaches competing in oversupplied personal growth markets. The first group will keep pulling ahead.

More leads don't always mean more growth. Sometimes, they just mean more wasted budget. I recently worked with a fast-growing gifting and floral commerce brand that had a common scaling challenge: High traffic. More leads. But declining conversions and rising CAC. The problem wasn't a lack of marketing efforts. It was a lack of data-driven decisions. Here's what we discovered: ❌ Lead qualification was based only on form submissions ❌ Multiple campaigns were running without clear attribution ❌ Every lead received the same nurturing journey ❌ Mobile users were bringing traffic but not converting The solution? We stopped treating every lead equally. Using behavioral data, we built a smarter lead scoring system based on intent signals like: → Pages visited → Time spent on the website → Category interest → Repeat visits Then we: ✅ Shifted budget toward high-performing channels ✅ Created personalized nurture journeys ✅ Optimized the mobile experience using real user behavior The outcome after 6 months: 📈 52% improvement in lead quality 📉 41% reduction in CAC 🚀 67% increase in revenue per lead 📱 Mobile conversion improved significantly The biggest lesson? Growth is not about generating more leads. It's about understanding the right leads. How are you using data to improve your growth strategy? #DataAnalytics #GrowthStrategy #LeadGeneration #MarketingAnalytics #DigitalMarketing #CRO

5 Proven Frameworks to Get High-Quality Leads for Coaches You’re posting consistently. You’re engaging with people. You’re showing up daily. And yet, no high-quality leads. Here’s the thing, coaching clients don’t just fall into your lap. You need a system. A repeatable framework that turns visibility into sales. 1️⃣ The Content Ladder Framework Most coaches post “value” but forget to move people toward a buying decision. Here’s how to structure your content: ✅ Awareness posts: Educate & attract new audiences. (e.g., "Why most people fail at X") ✅ Trust-building posts: Case studies, transformations, behind-the-scenes of your coaching. ✅ Call-to-action posts: Ask them to DM you for a free resource, session, or next step. Each piece of content should pull your audience deeper into your ecosystem. 2️⃣ The DM Magnet Framework High-quality leads don’t just engage. They DM you. But only if you make it frictionless. ✅ Use CTAs that make it easy: “DM ‘COACH’ and I’ll send you a breakdown of how I helped X double their revenue in 3 months.” “DM ‘SYSTEM’ to see the exact steps to book 5+ clients per month without cold outreach.” A simple one-word DM CTA works because it removes the hesitation of starting a conversation. 3️⃣ The Warm Engagement Framework Most coaches struggle with cold outreach. Because it feels, well… cold. Instead of pitching out of nowhere, warm up your audience first: ✅ Comment on their posts before DMing them. ✅ Engage with their stories before making an offer. ✅ Send voice notes or personalized videos—they convert 10x better than text. By the time you start a conversation, they already know who you are. 4️⃣ The Mini-Webinar Framework Some clients need more trust before buying. Long-form content builds authority fast. ✅ Host a 15-minute value-packed training on LinkedIn or Instagram. ✅ Pick one pain point your audience struggles with and solve it live. ✅ At the end, offer a free consultation for those who need deeper help. The right people will raise their hands and step forward. 5️⃣ The Lead Magnet Framework Some people need one more push before booking a call. That’s where lead magnets come in. ✅ Create a 1-page PDF (checklist, roadmap, or case study). ✅ Offer it for free in exchange for a DM or email. ✅ Follow up with them personally after they get it. People who actively request your lead magnet are already interested. They just need a nudge to move forward. P.S. Want to build a brand that gets 5X ROI and high-quality leads? DM “BRAND”

Try building trust, loyalty, and credibility without a story. You're making your job 400% harder. People don’t connect with pitch decks. They don’t remember product specs. They remember stories. Stories about someone like them, struggling with something they know, and finding relief in a way that feels human. If you're trying to grow your brand, close more sales, or gain loyal customers, this is your shortcut: Sell with stories. Why? Because great sales stories do 3 things no sales page alone ever will: 👉They build trust People trust what they understand. A story makes your offer feel familiar and emotionally safe. 👉They create relatability Customers need to see themselves in your narrative. When they do, your product becomes their solution. 👉They trigger memory Data gets forgotten. Emotions stick. A well-told story becomes the reason they come back — and refer others. Here’s how to craft a sales story that actually converts: 🔹 Start with the struggle Every hero has a challenge. So do your customers. Start by describing a real pain point they face. 🔹 Introduce the turning point What did they try? What didn’t work? And then — what changed when they found your solution? 🔹 Show the transformation This is the emotional payoff. What improved? Faster workflow? Less stress? Bigger impact? Make it clear and vivid. 🔹 End with a human insight Close with something that makes the reader nod — not just click. Make it about them, not just your product. #storytelling #businesstips #growth #marketinglessons I share storytelling and creativity to help you and your company sell more and grow. Let's Connect! 1.
